I like to help companies and people succeed. It's an incredibly simple sentiment, but it's what prompted me to start Latin America Executive Search Consultants back in 2008. And, quite frankly, it's still what makes me excited to get out of bed in the morning.
Watching individuals and companies move beyond their expectations is extremely satisfying because I know first-hand the joy that success can bring. I started my professional career in financial services – eventually founding and selling a mortgage services firm in New York – before becoming a partner at Picard International and then joining A. T. Kearney as Managing Director of Latin America Through this journey, I've been able to experience the world – having lived in a variety of locals such as Hong Kong, Brazil, Miami, and New York. These experiences are more than I ever could have imagined as I grew up in a working-class Chicago neighborhood as the oldest daughter of ten children.
I believe this experience taught me early on responsibility and treat others always to respect and accept personal differences. Growing up, I was raised to be a leader and to be a champion of diversity to stand up for inequality and racism. I believe this led me in my journey, in a career I am passionate about and reflects in our firms' culture of inclusion and how we conduct ourselves in the countries we have the privilege to work in.
Now, my focus is on nurturing success in others. To make this happen, we operate under a unique executive search mode here at Lan America Executive Search. As a boutique firm, we march to the beat of our drummer and take the time to know candidates on an up-close and personal level.
